Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Project Radio app and projectradio.net, operated by iPixel Media LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in Florida, United States, under document number L23000450304.

By using Project Radio you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

1. What Project Radio is

A directory of publicly available internet radio streams. We list stations, describe them, check whether they work, and connect you to them.

We do not broadcast. The audio you hear comes from the station's own server to your device. We do not host, store, record or rebroadcast it, and we have no recording feature.

2. What we do not control

We do not control what a station broadcasts, whether it stays on air, what it costs you in data, or what it does with your connection.

The directory includes stations of every kind from more than 200 countries. Some broadcast content you may find offensive, and some may be unsuitable for children. We do not review, screen, endorse or verify what any station plays.

If a station stops working, we mark it and eventually hide it. Until then you may find one that does not play.

3. Territory restrictions

Music rights are granted country by country. Where the law requires it, we restrict the music stations we offer to those licensed for your territory.

You must not attempt to circumvent this — for example by changing your device's region or using a VPN to obtain stations we do not offer where you are. Doing so is a breach of these terms and may be unlawful.

4. What you may do

Use Project Radio to find and listen to radio, for your own personal, non-commercial listening.

5. What you may not do

  • Record, capture, copy, redistribute or rebroadcast anything you hear.
  • Extract, copy or reuse the directory, in whole or in substantial part, by any automated means. The selection and arrangement of the catalogue, and the health data we generate about it, are ours.
  • Interfere with the service, or use it in a way that burdens the stations we list.
  • Use it for anything unlawful.

6. Our data

The catalogue draws on public sources — Radio Browser, released into the public domain, and the Icecast public directory — together with our own corrections, health checking and enrichment. Those additions, and the compilation as a whole, belong to us. Station names, logos and trade marks belong to the stations.

7. Stations: getting listed, and getting removed

If you run a station and want to be listed, you may submit it through the app. We review submissions but are not obliged to list every station.

If you run a station and want to be removed, ask and we will remove you. No reason required. See our copyright and takedown page.

Being listed does not create any agreement between us, does not oblige us to keep listing you, and does not entitle you to be listed.

8. Advertising

The app is free and carries advertising. We may change how that works.

9. Availability

We give no guarantee that Project Radio will be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.

10. Our liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for:

  • what any station broadcasts, or fails to broadcast;
  • data charges from your network operator;
  • loss of favourites or listening history stored on your device;
  • any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.

Project Radio is provided for personal use. We are not liable for business losses.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. If a change is material we will say so in the app before it takes effect. You may stop using Project Radio at any time by deleting the app. We may withdraw access if you breach these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the state and federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and nothing in these terms deprives you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
